I honestly can’t believe it’s almost Halloween… I’ve had to reassess my goals, but fortunately, the Queue Challenge keeps trucking along!
My finished queue projects are now at…
20!
Three finishes since my last update! That does include my spooky Halloween wreath.
The earliest finish was a set of chicken bonnets, which is a sentence I never would have thought I would write. While we were having a marvelous time in Bentonville, Arkansas, my friend Asia (Ben’s sister and woman of honor) showed me a funny picture of chickens wearing Sunday-best bonnets. She has chickens, and she asked if I would be able to make them. Of course I would.

Asia is also a phenomenal photographer, so I got a few beauty shots of the chicks modeling! Her daughter specifically asked for rainbow, so I’m glad I could deliver.
The latest finish was a pretty old WIP… Like started back in the lock down days. I finished my Baby Yoda hat!

This was my stoplight knitting for a very long time, so when I finally hit the point to decrease the crown and duplicate stitch, I was doing a lot of happy dances.
I’m also going to toot my own horn for just a minute, because I really wanted to participate in Carina Spencer’s Two Fold Cowl KAL. Your girl did not have any extra income for yarn this month, though, and I’m proud to say I had the perfect yarns already in my stash! One is even handspun!

There still quite a bit of year left, so we’ll see how I do at the finish line!
