COVID-19 is all anyone can talk about, so why should I be any different…
Honestly, I’m miffed today. I have been training and hyping for an active spring break trip that had to be cancelled for everyone’s safety. It was the right decision, but that doesn’t mean I’m not devastated.
When I shared the news with a friend, her response was “At least I bought a quarantine-amount of yarn.” That’s objectively funny, but it got me thinking: how much yarn is that?
We’ve all heard of SABLE, right? Stash Acquired Beyond Life Expectancy? Well, do you have SASQUATCH? or Stash Acquired to Survive Quarantine, Avoiding The Coronavirus Hopefully?
If you do, let me know how much yarn that is in the comments and what you’ll make with it.
If you need some yarn to get you there, consider supporting vendors from shows that had to be cancelled due to the pandemic:
Oh NOOOO! I don’t have SASQUATCH! I did not panic over the toilet paper whooo haaa, but this has me in a total state of kerfuffle!

I am surely in the SABLE area so I’m not worried about yarn. I am concerned about all the panic. It makes people behave foolishly.

Clever column. Sorry about your cancellation…. but I’m pretty sure, between the two of us, we have enough yarn to make it through a quarantine.
