It’s been a rough couple of weeks, friends.
We’re still in the middle of a Pandemie. The school year is starting, so work is picking up. I’m also working at the Ren Fest, which is a joy, but something else I have to make sure I’m able to do. On top of all of this, I’m moving, and that is the bane of my existence. The only thing that has brought me real peace and joy over the last couple of weeks have been my trips to go see Shang Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings (which once again makes me question how it took so long for me to be diagnosed with a GAD).
That is, until last night! I wasn’t even going to write a post today, but then this small blessing fell into my lap (from the ceiling… because of course, there’s always my way).

Back in March, I ordered this Haunted Mansion Halloween advent calendar, and subsequently forgot about it. It’s dyed by Fangirl Fibers, who is a dyer I haven’t worked with yet. However, I can already tell her level of love for the attraction sits right at 999, just like mine. The font is perfect. These stitch markers are perfect. The equally cute/creepy skull lolly pop, while not a direct reference, is perfect. The code for the KAL pattern came on some straight ART.

I will frame this after I redeem it! It will live on my (relocated) Disney gallery wall where I can look upon it and smile every day.
As tempting as it is to start opening it and show you all the goodies inside right this moment, I will wait and enjoy the process all through October. I’ll be sure to share along the way, so hurry back! (Be sure to bring your death certificate!)
