I know it’s been a minute, but I still feel like I don’t have much to show for these past two weeks.
My family and I took our annual trip to the Lake of the Ozarks (where we locked ourselves in our friends’ lake house), I’m going back into the office, and I had about four different COVID-related scares in a very short period of time. So, my crafting hasn’t been at the top of my list for a while, unfortunately.

The Camp Loopy project has taken up the most of my time, followed by the never-ending crop top. Some progress has been made on my Little House, and I picked up my hodge-podge spinning project for the lake trip.
I do really miss spinning. It’s usually my go-to summer craft, but everything is weird this year. Not to mention the Ren Fest isn’t happening for me this year, either. I’ll just have to settle for some deck spinning (or patio, if the pandemic doesn’t get any better come fall).
As far as watching, I’ve had a friend staying with me until she can move into her new place. She’s gotten me into RuPaul’s Drag Race. She’s also been catching up on The Handmaid’s Tale, which is both enlightening and terrifying to watch again. Last night, though, we watched Ever After, and I forgot how amazing that movie is (We did have some fun looking up the historical inaccuracies, though).
How are you all doing? What are you working on and watching? Let me know in the comments.
I can relate to how you are feeling. It is still difficult to concentrate at times, so my knitting is slow. I am trying to give myself a little grace. I am really enjoying Parks and Rec lately!
