A Holiday Hiatus

holiday Christmas crafting

Thanksgiving is just about upon us: family is flying in from out of town, menus are being prepared, and battle plans are being made for the Black Friday sales. Of course, you don’t have to fight crowds on Friday if you’re making your holiday gifts.

As I’m sure most of you are doing the same, and since we also want to spend time with our family and friends, you know crafting time is a precious commodity. Time spent reading about fiber crafting is less time actually crafting, and time spent writing about fiber crafting is less time actually crafting. Not to mention content is going to be a little harder to come by since most of the things I’m working on presently (get it?) need to remain a surprise!

So, in an effort to finish my gifts on time this year, the blog is going on hiatus until after the holidays. I have lots of ideas, and certainly intend to keep writing, but I’d love to spend what little free time I have actually celebrating the holidays.

I wish you all happiness and peace during what can be a hectic time of the year. Remember to take breaks during your holiday crafting, and enjoy it while it’s here!

(Also, if you are shopping this weekend, remember to shop Small Business Saturday! Look out for your yarn shops, local dyers, and fellow artists!)
