Black Friday Knit-Along Recap

First off, I want to thank everyone who came out, brought goodies, and donated. You all are the best.

Well, we did it! Twenty-four straight hours knitting hats, scarves, and cowls for the Johnson County Christmas Bureau. Honestly, we had a ton of fun doing it. There was great food, better company, and we got to marathon all of our favorite holiday movies.

Crafters came and went through the day. Some people brought stuff they had been working on for weeks to donate. We were putting them on Hoodie’s seat, and it got to the point where things were falling off!

All together, we donated more than 45 items to the Bureau! That’s so much more than I could have imagined, and I’m so happy we could do this for our neighbors.

And with that, I’m going on my holiday hiatus. I want to wish all of you a safe and crafty holiday season, and I’ll see you again in the new year!
