Sip and Knit with Treasure Goddess

I had such an excellent fiber adventure last weekend.

My friend Christine of Treasure Goddess Yarn decided to host a knit afternoon at her local winery in Stillwell, Kansas. I love yarn, and I love wine. This was an opportunity I could not pass up!

My ticket to the event included four pirate sheep wine glasses, wine stitch markers, funny project tags, and four wine-colored mini skeins. It also came with a glass of wine from Serendipity Farm and Vine (the vignoles was very light and balanced).

This wasn’t just a wine tasting, though. Christine brought a new base coming to her shop this summer for us to “taste” as well! It’s a bamboo-linen blend, fingering weight, and an a joy to knit. The fabric I swatched has amazing drape. It’s begging to be a summer top. I’ll be keeping my eyes on her shop, to be sure!

So happy for the opportunity to knit with friends at an event again!
