First Spindle Bingo

I am participating in the Spindle Bingo 2025, hosted by Batty Fibers, Pacific Coaster Fibres, and a fellow Yarn Social spinner Jess, on Instagram. Happy to share that in the first month of the challenge, I got my first bingo!

Pass it On

I got to share the Park and Draft technique with a new spinner I met through Discord!

Switch Hands

I really struggled with this… but I’m trying to finish WIPs, right? And I found my second ever spindle project, still unfinished. It was a good opportunity to try something new and keep that beginner texture in the yarn from all those years ago!

Spindle Spa Day

I had to replace the whorl on that same spindle WIP I’m attempting to spin with my left hand. My papa also helped me replace a missing hook on a different spindle WIP!

Spinning-Related Media

I watched a few different videos to refine my ply-on-the-fly technique, which I’m very happy with now!

The Spindle Bingo Challenge runs through April 7, so there’s still time to get your spindles out!
