It’s the end of another era.
You may recall way back to my first Social DisKnitting post, I was casting on for a MKAL hosted by Jessie Maed with her new, free pattern. The idea was to have something fun to work on, together, while we were all stuck inside. So, I grabbed a cotton that caught my eye out of my stash and started to dream of wearing it out and about when the worst of the pandemic was over, by the start of summer time.
Of course, neither of those dreams happened. It does seem like the bookend project to this (first, probably) quarantine. I’m back in the office now, but who knows for how much longer. Who knows anything about how this is all going to go. It’s still scary, but admittedly I don’t feel as twisted up about it as I did in March or April. I just control what I can control and hope for the best.

Admittedly, that’s a little bit easier to do in a comfy crop top in my friend’s backyard.
You look great! Nice job on the top and kudos on your improved attitude toward the unknown.
